I spent six months living in Sauda, a magical place at the end of a fjord, surrounded by countless peaks, lakes, waterfalls, and kind people. During this time, I got to see many cool spots in the area, mostly just by bike or on foot, since I didn’t bring my car. For one week (in June), I joined my family for a road trip around Western Norway, exploring many new locations.

I collected all the places I visited during this half a year (70+) and created a “Google My Maps” to share my love for this land with you. It features everything from tourist attractions to more or less secret spots and my favourite viewpoints… some more and some less random hehe. I’ve only included places I would visit (again), apart from a few places I haven’t had the chance to see yet, but have heard good things about. I sorted the locations under Rogaland (Sauda and surroundings) and Road Trip for easier navigation.
